This thesis examines the influence of highly specialized subjects and highly interdisciplinary subjects on Bradford’s Law of Scattering. It was determined through various indicators, whether a subject was specialized or interdisciplinary. It was concluded that a high degree of specialization and a possible need of highly advanced technical equipment only available to an exclusive group of scholars indeed had an implication on the application of Bradford’s Law of Scattering. This was found true for both the verbal and graphical formulation of the aforementioned law.
