This bachelor thesis examines how the public library communicates on Facebook. On one hand I will use an angle of rhetoric communication and the aptum model, which is described in an article from Per Hasle (2006) to analyze the thesis from that point of view. On the other hand I will examine what kind of media Facebook is or can be, and who the users of this media are. Furthermore I do include some examples from two public libraries, “Aalborg Bibliotekerne” and “Dansk Centralbibliotek for Sydslesvig”, to see how they understand and use Facebook as a tool.
